What happens when you call
- 1
Answered at the first ring
NIA picks up every call, day or night, and greets the caller on behalf of Goa Police. No queue, no IVR menus.
- 2
Spoken to in their own language
The caller can speak any of the languages below, or switch mid-sentence. NIA follows, and the transcript stays in their words.
- 3
Calm questions, complete facts
NIA reassures first, then asks only what the case needs: amounts, transaction IDs, the suspect's number or UPI handle, where it happened.
- 4
Officers see everything live
The control room watches the transcript and the complaint fill in as the caller talks, and can correct any answer on the spot.
- 5
One click to take over
When a case needs a human, an officer takes the call from the dashboard and speaks to the caller directly from the browser.
- 6
A complaint ready to register
When the call ends, the full form is drafted from the transcript, even for calls an officer finished, ready to review and register.
Built for police work
NIA never asks for OTPs or PINs
If a caller starts reading one out, NIA stops them. Anyone asking for an OTP in the name of police is a fraudster.
Officers stay in control
Every call is visible live. Officer corrections always override the AI, and only authorised staff can sign in.
Call data stays with Goa Police
Transcripts and complaints are stored on the department's own server. AI requests are sent with retention turned off.
Every action is recorded
Take-overs, edits, hang-ups and registrations are written to an audit log with the officer's name.
